NATiVE Solar is the premier off-grid solar installer in Texas. So, when local electric bike company Rocket Electric Bikes was looking for an off-grid solution for a portable/remote bike rental/storage/charging station, they came to NATiVE Solar.
It’s always an exciting challenge to work on unique, very clever solar projects. This is one of those projects.
NATiVE Solar designed and installed (6) 315W solar panel system with a 200ah battery system (4 FullRiver 12V batteries) and a FLEXpower off grid inverter on a 20ft shipping container structure by Falcon Structures that is being utilized remotely by Rocket Electric Bikes in the sustainable, transit-oriented Mueller community for a remote electric bike rental store and charging station.
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on May 24, 2018 and the remote bike shop and charging station is in operation.
