Highway 2325 – Wimberley, TX

The Highway 2325 Project is a stand-alone, off-grid solar power system with battery and generator backup. The 2.88kW solar array supplies enough energy to power a small cabin intended for weekend use only. The battery and generator backup system utilizes a XW Inverter/Charger to supply up to 6,000 watts of continuous power. This is sufficient power for running all the appliances in the cabin plus the future addition of some water pumping stations for agricultural use. The battery backup system uses Trojan L16 RE batteries and could last our client 10-12 years with proper maintenance and care.

Any energy demands that cannot be met by the solar panels is supplied by a liquid propane generator, a great combination that gives our client infinite power independence in this off-the-grid living situation.
