NATiVE Solar recently completed a 675kW solar harvesting and switchgear plant on the roof of the CPL (Clinical Pathology Laboratories) Austin HQ.

CPL is led by practicing pathologists, serving clinicians and patients locally in Texas for more than 75 years. With over 200 locations, CPL continues to offer the highest quality laboratory services dedicated to the individual needs of practitioners and their patients.

The primary goals for this project included delivering CPL the capacity to dramatically offset their large yearly energy consumption by taking advantage of Austin Energy’s Value of Solar program for commercial properties. The projected total 25-year energy offset is projected at over 1 Gigawatt of harvested energy from the facility’s new solar arrays.
