I have hired more people of all colors out of Prison to help those who wanted help to get out of the scarlet letter that they carried for getting into trouble. I can proudly say a few of them turned away from the people and challenges to become fine upstanding citizens with whom I am still friends after 20+ years.

On that I would like to add that maybe you do not use the negative terminology today of “Diversity” which makes people in some areas think of racial quotas at the expense of more qualified people of other races, and just let people know like you did in this rebuttal that your company hires all people of all races who are willing to come, be on your team, learn what and why you do what you do, grow in your company, and be people of Character not color.
